In all mystical traditions there is a final goal of a sometimes life-long training and meditation. It is the experience of Unity. In some traditions it is called the direct experience of God, or the unity with nature and universe.

Sufism uses the concept of Tawhid to describe the connection between all things in 

the universe. They are all manifestation of one ultimate reality, called Allah. This cannot be described by words; it simply has to be experienced. Over the centuries Sufism developed a technology to enable a person to get close to Tawhid. 

To achieve any progress in a spiritual way the quality of a Spirit Warrior with a clear intention (Niyyat) is needed. In Sufism such a person is called “Ghazi” (Spirit Warrior) or “Wali” (Friend of the Divine). As a traveller on the path the practitioner has to overcome many obstacles and has to fight many internal battles. It is needed to reach beyond ones personal borders and enter into a new space of presence. 

In the coming seminar we will introduce some sacred steps and some dhikr which are extremely helpful in this process. 

Furthermore we will look towards some methods from the Far East: 

In Japan another kind of technology with the goal to teach unity was developed. The roots of this knowledge trace back to Central Asia, Tibet and China. Forms of meditation and physical exercise including martial arts were cultivated to make the experience of “Mushin” (Japanese for free heart or spirit) possible. 

There are some similarities between concepts and practise in Sufism and Far Eastern Movement and Meditation forms. 

During this training we will show the connection between Japanese Warrior techniques and Middle Eastern Dervish techniques to strive for the experience of Unity.
